Alum: My experience at Lakeland was like no other. I graduated from high school in 2020. I was planning on heading to Kent State when COVID came into play. I knew that going to Lakeland was a good decision, I just didn’t know how much it would impact me. Being mostly online for the past 2 years I still enjoyed every moment. One major thing that made my experience at Lakeland was having the chance to graduate with my aunt. During COVID she thought to herself and brought it to us, why not go back to school? Nobody had an answer to why she shouldn’t. So back to school she went. We actually had 2 classes together! One in person, one online. 2 years later, her and I were able to graduate together with our associate of arts degree and this is something that I will cherish forever. I couldn’t have done it without her by my side. She is one of my biggest supporters, my inspiration, and so much more. So thankful for such a great experience here at Lakeland, I will definitely miss it.... Read 423 reviews

Graduate Student: My overall experience with Cuyahoga Community College currently is comforting. It is affording to pay your way through school, they have great advisors that are ready to assist you at any giving moment. One thing I would like to see changed is being able to speak to instructors personally about classes to explain the need of being apart of an class whom room is considered full. I only suggest that because I believe it will be more understandable for instructor's to sympathize within allowing us to join the "full" classes when that's the only time that'll work for my schedule .... Senior: I love Baldwin Wallace. The education school not only gets you into a classroom in your first year, it also helps with all the things you need in your classroom. This does not mean just what we need to teach, but also classroom management, teaching styles, and multiple things that help us organize. Graduate Student: My experience at portage lakes was life changing. I graduated from the nursing program in 2020 and began my next journey to RN short after. I felt like I was trained with more then enough experience to pass my NCLEX as well on the first try in August 2020. Only thing I would change is probably having more flexibility during the week like maybe doing some clinical rotations on weekends or evening to give you the full nursing experience from all shifts and perspectives.... Graduate Student: I graduated from willoughby Eastlake in January and the experience was challenging but well worth it. Going into nursing school I wasn’t sure what to expect far as academic schedules. I loved how they only have 2 semesters. We had multiple classes during each semester but only focused on 1 subject per day instead of various like high school. I can’t think of anything i would have changed. Willoughby Eastlake has a high expectations for their students that in the beginning you feel are unrealistic but they set you up for success in the long run. Junior: It was a great experience overall. Online school was a challenge but the teachers adjusted really well to the change. Most teacher made the atmosphere the same as the class room. The teachers gave more than enough time to complete assignments. It is a lot to learn in 11 months but it is paced very well you will have enough time to study and feel good about every topic.
