Junior: My experience at Rockford University has overall been great! My professors have been very knowledgeable and helpful. I have been thriving at Rockford University and have maintained a 4.0 since starting classes here. I have learned a great amount of information that will carry into my career. The only thing I do not like about Rockford University is how confusing financial aid is. It's never clear how much money I owe, when my financial aid will be disbursed, and how much I should anticipate to spend for each semester. I thought I had taken out enough in loans to cover my expenses for the year, but I still owe money. Junior: The facilities just had some renovations and the professors are great instructors who actually care about the future of nursing. The curriculum is held at a higher standard compared to other colleges which means the students have to score higher in order to receive B's or A's. The material and clinical experience is very individualized and the instructors are able to give you that one of one experience. This builds a good reputation between professors and students. A better connection means a better educational environment. Besides all of the positivity that this college has there are some down sides. The current shortage of nursing professors is nation wide and our program has been suffering because of it. When we do our clinical rotations we have been wondering why cant we join other hospitals. The reason is because they are so short staffed with clinical nursing professors that they can't find anyone in other hospitals.... Read 33 reviews
