Graduate Student: At Mercer, I really enjoyed the small class sizes and each of my professors. Most of my professors were very easy to get along with, and really wanted to see each student succeed in the class. I also enjoyed the scenery and historic aspect Mercer's campus provides. As for changes, I would like to see more/updated living spaces as well as additional parking lots placed throughout the school. Freshman: My first year at FVSU has been an experience.Although the first year may initially appear chaotic, it usually passes quickly as the semesters progress. Make sure to complete ALL financial aid tasks as quickly as you can! And Fort Valley IS the place to go if you're not used to eating in cafeterias. Contrary to other schools, Fort Valley's cafeteria fare is very good. Alum: Wesleyan College is very diverse. I experience global diversity through cultural celebrations and milestones of others. The institution has intimate class sizes. Wesleyan is an liberal arts college, therefore it really challenges your thought process in comparison to a larger university. The environment is very open and relaxed. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and supportive. The pro's are that you want to participate in so many things because they have great programs. The food is great and diverse to accommodate its international student base. My counselor was a rock star and ensured I was always on track. Wesleyan is academically challenging, inclusive, and well rounded. Your experience is based upon YOU. Participating socially is key to building your future network of colleagues and possibly best friends. The ONLY con I have is the campus dorms and buildings are a bit dated and need renovation badly!
