Freshman: I love, love, love F&M! I've met the best friends. The staff are so sweet. Our College Dean/VP, Drew, is the best. Last week he brought us all pizza at 10 pm. The staff work really hard here. The dining staff are always so friendly. They see us as their kids :) The campus is beautiful. It's not a rich school but we have good resources. Everyone is down to earth. There's decent parties but more of the scene is hanging out with friends, laughing, being spontaneous. The City is pretty great. I like that I can walk to everything. There's lots of support resources for academics, tutoring, counseling and medical. The food is actually great. My house is the best (Weis!). It's the community that means the most to me. Go here.... Junior: My overall experience at Millersville University has been great! The faculty, staff, students, and everyone in the community gave me a great sense of belonging. Student engagement, clubs/organizations, programs, and events have all contributed to a fun college experience. Overall, the quality of education is great and tuition is quite affordable compared to other institutions. Freshman: I am currently a freshman and I must admit that the Pennsylvania College of Health Sciences, though expensive, it's very calm. The teachers are nice and quite comprehensive of their student's time and struggle. Nonetheless, the advisors are wonderful! They have helped me plan out my courses and destress myself since it is my first year and things seemed chaotic. Thanks to my advisor I am now confident to continue on with my following semesters. Alum: Elizabethown College is a tight community with dedicated professors and cheerful students. I attended in the 80's and the spirit has remained unchanged. There are many suburban high school students looking for a comfortable environment like Etown. Living on campus is quiet and college community oriented. The academics are excellent, on par with colleges that have higher rankings. While the college is no longer officially tied to the Brethren church, there is a history of acceptance, service and tolerance that is a strong reason for some students to consider Etown. While there is no Greek scene at the college there was a lively party scene on and off campus when I went there. Senior: PCA&D as a school is a very unique experience. It has also changed so much since my Freshman year that I feel like I am in a unique position to showcase how things have improved. Housing does continue to be a problem for the school. Due to the size, it would be a poor investment to make dorms for students, as we only have around 300-400 students total at the school. But there is now a considerable amount more housing options than when I first attended. (though I would still recommend renting outside the school.) The true key to what makes the school great is the professors. They genuinely care so much about making sure you get what you're paying for. It also helps that they actually know who you are, due to the small class sizes. There is only so much I can fit in 1000 characters, so I'll just say this. PCA&D is a school that has changed a lot, but I would say it's for the better! I'm so glad I chose this school. I really feel like I'm ready for the real world after this last year....
