Alum: Overall pretty satisfied with my undergraduate experience, but SUNY Buffalo is definitely a school that might not appeal to everybody. If you're a fan of big schools like myself, then it's great; plenty of campus activities and sports, absolutely amazing food choices (the dorm even has a grocery store), different campuses with different vibes for different people, and so many groups of people from all different walks of life. However, it's definitely huge party school (a pro and a con), and there's some safety issues outside of South campus to be aware of. Likewise, due to the massive class size, it's essential to be self-reliant/driven in your studies, and I could definitely see the 500 person lecture halls and greater difficulty connecting with professors turning-off people from UB. Parts of North campus itself does look a bit visually unappealing, and parking is a constant issue among students as well. Senior: D'Youville University is an incredible place. This is my last year on campus and seeing all of the growth and progress over my five years has been amazing. The study spaces have been completely transformed and there is always something to do. If you're thinking about coming here just do it! You won't regret it and you'll have the time of your life. There are some people that find things to complain about all the time but that's typical. I'm so proud to be a Saint and I'm so sad that I graduate this year year. The friends I have made are incredible and will be a part of me for life. Insider tip: Don't try to get Starbucks during Red Time or you'll be waiting forever. Sophomore: I've absolutely loved the community that I have found here at Niagara University. The program that I'm in is so incredibly welcoming and supportive. There are plenty of majors/minors and opportunities to explore and my advisor has made sure I can get the most out of my time here. Sophomore: I love the small class sizes which make for interactive and engaging classes with quality professors. There are lots of events from different organizations throughout the semester and your level of involvement is however much you wish to be involved. Senior: I have had an amazing experience at Daemen throughout my past 3.5 years here. The professors are excellent in some departments, while others could not care less. The clubs and student activities are lower than average universities due to the more academics driven atmosphere. Becoming involved on campus is an easy process with over 54 clubs and organizations. There are also some leadership positions available. Many offices on campus want to support you in whatever you need. Freshman: I am enjoying Medaille college (Medaille University) I just finished my first semester and I really enjoyed all my classes and I live on campus and i also enjoy the dorm room. you are assigned 1 roommate and you sleep in the same room with different beds and the only other room is a bathroom but the room is decently big so we get by. I personally enjoy it. as far as my classes they are less difficult than high school but I also feel like I comprehend more than in high school I firmly believe that Medaille college is a great college! Its known for being a very good vet tech school but I am going for actuarial science and its still got a good mathematics program even being specialized in vet tech. the food is decent, its not the best but i eat there everyday and it doesn't really upset me ever so.... Freshman: My experience in Bryant & Stratton was good because the staff and everyone that works there are sweet, helpful and all the teacher are helpful and they makes The assignment easier for everyone to understand. When I need help the teacher always come and I see what I need help with, they will tell me what am doing wrong and right.If you still need more help you can email them and you guys will make a schedule after school were they can help you understand the work. There are free tutor's that can help you with any class work you are having trouble understanding. There is not a lot of students in one class so when you need individual help the teacher can come to you and help you with the questions you are not understanding. The students are helpful to like if you do not understand something, the teacher is helping someone else they will help you and if you miss a day of school and need the assignment for yesterday they will give you the worksheet or help you if it is on the computer.... Freshman: Trocaire is an amazing college and a great fit for me. I take half my courses online and half in person. Everyone is friendly and always willing to help. All the instructors I have had so far have been amazing to work with. There is tutoring available, which I have taken advantage of. I also belong to a program called Trio, which gives me extra help to insure attaining my goals to graduate. I have attended several workshops to help with studying and taking notes. I even received a gift card for a local grocery store! That gave me the opportunity to study more without worrying working extra hours to cover bills. Senior: I cannot stress how much I have enjoyed the experience here at Bryant & Stratton College. I was able to get my Associates Degree in Graphic Design in 4 semesters (with help from my former college credits). I have had amazing instructors, especially for my major, who have vast experience in the field and excellent teaching skills. I learned the Adobe Suite family of programs, which are the industry standard for Graphic Design. The entirety of the staff at Bryant & Stratton has been so much more than kind and helpful to me.
