Senior: At Madonna University, I had the ability to transfer 3 years of classes from a community college. The faculty at the school made the transition seamless. The advisors and financial aid office help answer whatever questions you have and make sure you are headed down the right path. As most universities, Madonna may seem expensive. The only problem I've had is that the school has limited scholarships that you can be available for. If I could change one thing, that's the only thing I would fix. Sophomore: Delta College is a great place to study! It is more affordable than most colleges and it offers a great variety of classes and associate degrees. Being in college during the pandemic, they have made sure to keep their students and staff safe throughout the past couple of years. Alum: The student diversity at KVCC is amazing! All the faculty memebrs are very passionate about representing KVCC in a great and memorable way. They genuinely care about their students personal lives and what their futures hold. It's hard to find a large enrollmenet sized school with people who puruse relationships with their students. I would like to see a change in how student-athletes support other student athletes along with the facilities. Sophomore: I love the professors at Schoolcraft College. They are helpful, understanding, and teach very well. The campus is small but beautiful. The classes aren't super big which is good for people with anxiety, like me. I have got close with plenty of professors and still visit them to this day. The people that go to Schoolcraft are also very sweet and quiet. I have made some really great friends at Schoolcraft that I will have forever. Sophomore: I found that the small campus allows for a great way to find friends and connect with professors. Though Lake State has some issues, like any school does, I found that professors care so much more about your wellbeing and education when compared to other schools with large populations. Connecting with staff on a personal level and being known by name allows for an increase in opportunities around campus and towards your future. Having such a small population also adds an increased feeling of safety. You know recognize most people you see around campus and since everyone knows each other, people are less likely to do any harm. I personally enjoy all the events the school offers. Laker week is a great way to start the school year! I would like to see a better management of funds by the school. I believe that it would be beneficial to the students to offer more scholarships and to communicate with the students when tuition is going to increase. Other than that I love it here!... Freshman: Overall, good school, friendly staff, and tutoring is always available. It's been wonderful being able to study there. I've been getting good grades so far, mostly B's and have been able to talk with the people there. The career fair they held helped me talk to people that might get me an internship. Which would overall help me to get a job after I graduate. They have plenty of places to study and people in classes are willing to work with you even if they don't know you. Junior: I am so glad I enrolled in early college at Macomb Community College. I couldn’t have asked for a better college experience! There are so many aspects of Macomb that you don’t get at a lot of other colleges. In my experience all of the professors here really take interest in helping you learn the material, making sure you understand, and are doing well in the class. It’s such a nice environment on campus, everyone is friendly and you meet great people with similar interests in your classes. Another thing I love is that the professors encourage you to get to know your classmates. I really don’t know how I would have passed some of my classes if I didn’t have people to talk to, work, and study with.
