Freshman: Great professors, fantastic people. The campus is beautiful and is located in a safe and fairly essay location to get to. The community is strong and the recourses available are lifesavers, wether your fresh out of high school or someone wanting to get back into the education seen, Aims has plenty to offer. Though with all the good I have experienced a number of issues with the cashiers office with moments of a lack of professionalism in terms of conducting oneself in particular with being quickly dismissed and spoken to in a rude manner. Alum: This is a fantastic community college! Classes are very affordable compared to larger colleges, and if you don't have the funds to pay for tuition at the beginning of the semester, the Financial Aid office will help you find a solution. Furthermore, RRCC offers a wide variety of online, in-person, or hybrid classes to suit your schedule, and most of them are guaranteed to transfer to other colleges in Colorado. The professors are very supportive and want you to succeed with your academic goals. Plus, I prefer the small class sizes here over the larger, more intimidating classes at state universities. Also, it has great facilities and resources including a brand new student rec center, an IDEA lab to introduce students to engineering, the Arvada campus dedicated to the health sciences, a bookstore, and a coffee shop. Graduate Student: I have been a student of the CCA since January 2021 up until Summer of 2023 when I completed my associates of science degree. I still have ambition to continue my education at the establishment as a graduate student since I am only a senior in high school who has been able to use the dual enrollment system to its full potential. The college has a wide variety of courses to choose from with many also being available online for convenience. CentreTech Campus offers you many useful resources while Lowry Campus contains locations specialized for certain types of education such as medicine or photography. The college also has a very diverse culture which makes social bonding an essential aspect of the experience. The professors have a good understanding of the concepts they teach and will support you in case you are struggling with course material. Freshman: I spent some time between high school and college working. Throughout my time spent working, I fell out-of-touch with my scholarly side and I lost many of the good study habits I previously had that were academic-related. Well, PCC is the perfect "starter" school. PCC has allowed me to dip my toes back into academics in a digestible manner that has allowed me to start my roots strong in my educational future. The cost of education here is acceptable and fair, with no unnecessary gouging in sight. The faculty is heartfelt, dedicated, and inspiring to say the least and have helped me learn how college works. Sophomore: I have been attending Pikes Peak State College for two years now. I have done a year in-person, as well as a year fully online. I have completed my CNA certification there as well as finishing my degree in Psychology this semester. I plan on continuing my education with them to receive my bachelor's degree in nursing. I have truly enjoyed my time at Pikes Peak. I have met great colleagues who have made great friends and made my college experience even better.
