Alum: I graduated from CMU back in 2000, but I think now that I'm removed from my time as a student I have a little different perspective. Not only did I LOVE my time as a student because of the social life, the people and everything to do on-campus and in Mount Pleasant, but looking back I can see how my education completely changed my future. I've changed careers a couple times, and the things I learned at CMU have allowed me to quickly move up the ladder in each of those fields. The things I learned in my business classes, my broadcasting classes, and my general courses gave me the tools to be a connecter and leader, and a quick learner in just about any industry. Freshman: I am an incoming freshman and so far, all of my interactions have been great! I have had many family members attend Western Michigan university and plan to be the next one to become a Bronco. Academically, Western offers the Western School of Medicine that I am interested in and plan to one day join the medical field as my mother is a Registered Nurse. Helping others is something that I am passionate about and hope that I will be an asset to the much-needed health care family. With the growing shortage of medical providers in the country and the need increasing daily I believe that Western will be able to help me to obtain my education and be an added value to the community. Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to provide information on Western so far as I still have a lot to learn but hope that Western will guide me through the process and have a great freshman year at collage. Junior: Overall, Northwood University has been a true blessing and a hidden gem that I am grateful to have found. I am very involved at Northwood University with our International Auto Show, Fashion Showcase, American Marketing Association Chapter, National Society of Leadership and Success, and DECA. I appreciate being a full-time student at Northwood University because of how I am known there as a name rather than a number. All of my professors greet me by name and answer any and all of my questions that I may have. If there were any changes that I would like to be seen made, it would be to increase the number of students that attend the university. I want more college students to be able to experience this business school and receive that "greeted-by-name" feeling as they walk onto the campus environment. Alum: I can not say enough great things about Ferris State University. First, the location is beautiful and the small town of Big Rapids was welcoming. The college is central to the area. It's easy enough to navigate and there is always someone around to give you directions or even recommendations to wherever you are headed next. And the school itself gives you professors that are fantastic. Most of the professors I encountered were kind and generous. So many are approachable and easy to talk with. One time in particular, I really struggled with an accounting class. It was difficult for me to understand the concepts that were discussed in the online setting, but by being able to go to the professor's in-office hours was detrimental to my passing grade. The professor only wanted to see my success and never made me feel ridiculous. Freshman: Overall, good school, friendly staff, and tutoring is always available. It's been wonderful being able to study there. I've been getting good grades so far, mostly B's and have been able to talk with the people there. The career fair they held helped me talk to people that might get me an internship. Which would overall help me to get a job after I graduate. They have plenty of places to study and people in classes are willing to work with you even if they don't know you. Freshman: I am a freshman at Eastern Michigan University, I enjoyed my first semester a lot. The beautiful campus of Eastern provides many events and clubs to join, there is never a dull moment! The library is a great place to study either alone in quiet areas or even with a group of friends. There is a variety of food choices around the campus such as going to Starbucks in the student center for a quick coffee to eating at a sushi bar in the same student center. The curriculum Eastern offers is diverse there are many different classes, online/hybrid/in-person that have great professors. Freshman: As a freshman going into college, I was super nervous, but deciding on college had never felt so right. My brother started attending Adrian College, one weekend I went up to visit him, that's when I feel in love with Adrian College. The campus is so beautiful, and well taken care of. On my walks to my morning lectures, I always see the grounds guys working hard, their super nice and wave to me every morning. A thing everyone notices about Adrian is the pink flowers all around campus, from the moment you're on campus to the second you leave campus you see the beautiful bright flowers. The Caine student center building is my favorite, with all the seating outside, including the fire places, to the big slide on the inside, Its an awesome building. Ive felt so welcomed into every course I have taken at Adrian. The resources there are amazing, from Office hours to tutoring. I've never been so proud to call myself an Adrian Bulldog....
