Alum: Great school overall. Some amazing professors. Lots a scholarship opportunities and seriously one of the best Presidents you can have at a university. It does feel more like a commuter school. You don’t quite get the big university feel which can be a pro or a con for an individual. I was a transfer student and did enjoy my previous university more. At UVU I did appreciate the hybrid model I was able to utilize because life happens and sometimes you need to go to school online. I would highly recommend this university for their programs but also if you want to get you generals out of the way. It was a great stepping stone university for those also wanting to start here with because of the open enrollment then transfer else where. My only complaint is that there wasn’t a lot of school spirit and not a lot of major activities like dances or parties compared to what other public institutions in the state had.
