Other: Where I would put my educational goals are out somewhere in the galaxy! They are extremely high, coming from a family where no one went to college. I would only have to say I take school very seriously. The world revolves on what is learned and you need to learn in order to comprehend. As for everyone knows that knowledge will bring you opportunities to make a huge difference. This scholarship will help tremendously with education. I am currently serving in the U.S. Army and would like to continue serving for my country as well as earn a degree in the mean time. I have already finished a few classes with a 4.0 grade scale. Sophomore: Black hawk college is such a midwestern gem! The newly constructed buildings, especially building one and the health science buildings give big city vibes, while still being affordable for small town living. The professors I’ve encountered have all been very helpful and gone out of their way to make sure I’m successful or answer any questions I may have regarding lecture material. Sophomore: My overall experience at Highland Community College is nothing but wonderful. The people there are easy to get along with. They want nothing but for you to succeed at whatever you choose. Highland has lots of services to help you along your academic journey. There are always multiple people who wish for your success.
