Sophomore: I enjoyed getting the hands-on learning experience in the classroom at Thaddeus Stevens. I am studying Graphic Communications and Printing Technology so I spent time designing on the computer and I also got to work on a variety of printing equipment. Our class toured different companies in our field within the industry which exposed us to possible job opportunities in the area. One of our tours was to Grafika Prints and I was so fascinated by the large printing company so I applied for an internship there. I received the summer internship which turned into a job once the school year started. Without the college prioritizing us all touring companies I wouldn't have learned about the great company I work at now. At school, I have also enjoyed participating in events and clubs with my classmates. Since Thaddeus Stevens College is a participating school in the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society I was able to join that club and meet more students.... Read 76 reviews

Sophomore: I’ve been going to CCAC for 3 semesters now to pursue an associates degree in psychology and Education and it’s been great so far! I really feel like the professors at CCAC are here to teach you something and they will help you to get through all of your struggles. The professors I had always have been understanding of any problems that came up and they were very approachable. I’m glad to have chosen this college as an affordable start before transferring to a 4 year institution. CCAC also offers a variety of clubs and activities that’s are fun to explore. I’m part of the World Cultures Club and we’re going to hold a global food and dance festival this coming April, which will feature dancers from Thailand, eastern countries, and Africa while enjoying over 60 food options from across the world.... Sophomore: Mansfield is a small school with only about 2,000 students. For as small as it may be, the education that my professors give to their students is incredible. Not to mention the music program is phenomenal. I am in marching band and have only worked with two music professors, but I have been to every concert type and am blown away each time I attend. Mansfield University also has a great community, with many clubs and events advertised to students. I would love to see an upgrade in the dining situation. As a nutrition major, I believe it is important to have many options for any dietary needs. Although this is a small school, I am sure that there is s way to come up with a better dining plan than the one we have now. Alum: CPI is a small, vocational school serving adults learners and rural high school students in the area. It's nestled among rolling hills in a bedroom community near the college town of State College, Pa. As a result, public transportation can run in excess of two hours to and from this isolated campus.
