Junior: I just transferred to the University of Kentucky this past week, and it has been nothing but amazing. I came from a university that genuinely does not have their students best interest at heart. The second I stepped onto campus in Kentucky it has been nothing but love radiated from everyone, from the students, to the staff and faculty, and everyone I have had the pleasure of meeting. You can tell that these people are actually happy and enjoy what they are doing. I was very nervous walking into orientation and meeting my advisor because I struggled a lot with my academics at my last institution. But my advisor was nothing but understanding, patient, and helpful. Junior: Since I was so unsure about college I didn't want to just not go to college. I had looked into different colleges to give it a chance at least for one whole year we decided that BCTC would be the best fit for me. With two different major changes I am so a happy to say that I will be graduating in December of 2023. I start my three summer classes this week and I'm so excited to say I have exceeded my expectations and I earned a 4.0 this spring semester. BCTC has boosted my confidence with my academics and now I will start the process to find a four year school to pursue social work. Freshman: Currently a freshman doing online classes and so far I am so happy to be back in school!! The professors here are amazing, I couldn't figure out how to turn an english paper in through blackboard, and he called me just to get it turned in on time!!
