Senior: My courses were conducted both in person and online this past semester. Although I prefer learning in person in an enviorment where I am connected with my instructors and my peers, I have been able to manage well through my online courses, especially because GWCC has done a really good job in conducting courses effectively where professors are not only lenient and understanding towards students with current circumstances, but all professors from my experience have done their best to make sure we still feel connected, especially those of us who are not living on campus and have classes that are all online. Graduate Student: Housatonic is a great community oriented school. I decided to go there to complete my pre-requisite for Dental Hygiene and all of my credits were transfers. I love the campus and professor so much that decided to complete my associates degree and Health Science certification. Professor are great and the tactics they use to teach you complex concepts, especially in the science field, I can say that have stuck with me until this day where I am completing my undergrad degree. This is a school that constantly recommend this school to coworkers and fellow church members when they decide to embark into their college career. Sophomore: I’m currently in my second semester of sophomore year and after completing all of my academic courses, I’m finally able to start working towards my illustration major and animation minor. In my freshman year alone, I’ve noticed just how much my art has improved! I’ve learned to pay attention to lighting in a 3D space and how to correct my proportions when it comes to drawing anatomy. I’m focusing on character design for video games and animated movies, and the Hartford Art School offers so many introduction courses that helps to introduce the subject in a matter that’s not overwhelming. Alum: I graduated from Goodwin University when they were known as, "Goodwin College" in 2014. My experience taking courses within their nursing program was outstanding. I was enrolled in the program 3/4 of the time, then mandatory part-time once taking my core nursing courses.
