Senior: I think that John Brown University is an amazing place. The campus is beautiful! The buildings are super pretty and the natural aspect around the campus is absolutely stunning. There are amazing walking and biking trails around campus that are great for getting outdoors! It is a smaller university so it never feels too crowded and class sizes are great to be able to get to known your professor and feel a personal investment from the staff. Campus life is very engaging and super safe. It is not a very big party culture school but SGA does a good job in trying to engage everyone. Somethings that I would want to change about JBU is that I would like it if there were more meal options/ better food in the cafeteria. It is also hard because JBU is located in such a small town that there aren't many local things to do/ restaurants to eat at. It is nice the Siloam Springs is only around 30 minutes away from bigger cities so that way you could go to Rogers/Bentonville fairly easy to get that.... Read 492 reviews

Senior: OBU is a tremendous school. It’s small, but you still meet new people all the time. The professors are amazing! They really work to make you learn the concepts they are teaching. The Business school is top notch and offers a wide array of classes. The president of the university is very visible and involved with the students. They have many resources for student success. They are always creating cool things to do on campus and even off. Campus trips. The athletic programs are top notch, especially football. Sophomore: Coming to Central Arkansas was one of the best life choices. Along with making amazing friends and memories, I have greatly enjoyed the academic aspect of college. Most of my days I wake up excited and ambitious about attending class and have loved my professors and their commitment to my education. The accredited programs have really allowed me to put full faith in the university leading me to academic success, most of the professors that I have been in class with have taught in a very effective way that allows me to truly comprehend the material from one semester to the next. On top of being a student, being a cheerleader brings a whole different aspect of college to life. Sophomore: Northwest Arkansas Community College is a small campus with no dorms or rooms but is very close to the local area. Fortunately, the environment is great and quiet for studying such as the Student Center. Not only that but the tuition is very cheap compared to other universities and colleges and the professors are well prepared and actively help the students understand the content. The transition from online to in-person was also smooth and the staff and faculty were very helpful and informative, providing plenty of resources and support. NWACC has various programs and organizations such as F1RSTS and the LIFE program. F1RSTS is about supporting and teaching first-generation college students, while LIFE is about promoting success during and after enrollment and celebrating culture and bringing the community together. Sophomore: So excited to graduate from my small town high school, but then going to college can seem scary and nervous to get signed up for classes! Graduate Student: This college has made want I though was impossible dreams come true. The people are friendly and give useful resources. The staff is amazing, very professional and courteous. South Ark is also a convenient location for me because I can work local and manage my children care. The only and biggest complaint that I would think everyone has is the parking spaces. Freshman: The University of Grantham is amazing! The college's Administration Department will literally do an entire walk-through of enrollment, the college's Financial Aid Department will assist with any questions you have regarding financial aid or the application process, and then once you have started the courses and course content is immaculately easy and understandable. I couldn't have picked a better college! All of my courses are online and accessible 24/7. My grades are continually updated weekly, and the courses are lined out by week. For example, I am a full-time online student, I have eight weeks per semesters to complete two courses and each course has weekly content. Sign into your college account, go to blackboard, and click course content. There you are both classes and every bit of work you will have to complete will be available to you. Graduate Student: My experience at Shorter College was a true blessing. I tried going to other colleges when I was younger, I just never felt comfortable being there, like I did not belong. When I started at Shorter, I was 44, and nervous that I wouldn't fit in there either. I was so very wrong! I did fit in and I was/am part of Shorter College. The age range of the student body has such a diverse range that anyone of any age will fit right in and feel comfortable. My Success Coach, Kevin Hollamon, is the best. He truly cares about each student and offers solid guidance that you can trust. I went through many obstacles during my time at Shorter and my Professors offered carrying words and support beyond.
