Junior: Boomer Sooner! I recently transferred to OU and have loved every single moment. The University of Oklahoma has such a large and diverse population that you cannot fail to find your place here. There are so many colleges, courses, and professors to choose from. There are entire departments dedicated to ensuring the well-being of all students, all you have to do is ask around. There are more than 100 student organizations on campus, cultural, academic, sport-oriented, and religious organizations for students to choose from, and if you feel any of the existing organizations does not cater for your needs, you are allowed to make your own. There is academic advising, peer tutoring, group tutoring sessions, a library database with more than enough information, and office hours provided by professors and teaching assistants among other services to ensure that students are supported to produce the best results at school. Sophomore: Although the University of Tulsa is known for being expensive, they are very generous with scholarships (I myself have managed to pay for the full cost of attendance with their help). The small class sizes are a great way to connect with both classmates and professors, and the relatively small campus size makes it easy to get to closely-scheduled classes. Plus, it's a lot easier to enroll in classes when there are fewer people competing for a spot. As for looks, the campus is beautiful -- it's got a lot of gorgeous flora and excellent sights. I feel like the ambience of the university is a huge factor of why I love attending. There are dozens of resources on campus for pretty much everything, from tutoring to career planning. The academic advisors do a great job making sure students are taking the classes they need to graduate and are interested in. Sophomore: Overall its a pleasant experience here. Relatively small campus so a car isn't needed. The same goes for some of the town since it's a smaller one. The classes are usually small with 20 or less people. It's a cheap yet effective option. Biggest complaint is the availability of spending your meal plans. Unlike some other universities, everything food-related closes around 8. The diner itself isn't even all day; you have to get there at certain periods throughout the day. And on Fridays everything closes earlier (around 5 pm). And you're kind of out of luck if you intend to stay in dorms during holidays since everything will always be closed including the smaller holidays like Fall Break. So you'd have to get sustenance outside of campus for those 4 or 5 days without able even able to spend part of your meal plans that you paid for.... Read 564 reviews

Sophomore: Northeastern State University is an excellent college to attend. This campus has many friendly faces to meet and outstanding professors. NSU is a perfect size if you want a school that is big enough to offer everything while not feeling too overwhelmed. This college feels like home! The only thing I think this campus lacks is enough parking for housing students. However, this school offers a very diverse setting, which is incredible because not only am I learning new things from my classes, but I am also learning all kinds of cultural things from the friends I have made from attending NortheasternState University. NSU is a liberal art school with an excellent science program. While NSU offers many things academically, NSU also provides a wide variety of clubs you can join. Sophomore: I really appreciate the community involvement and loving atmosphere that is found throughout Oklahoma Christian. The professors might be strict but they are providing adversities that will be faced after college and I respect them more because of that. The food at OC could improve by supplying more variation and allowing the Eagle Bucks to be used at more places; such as Subway, McDonald's, Starbucks...and the list goes on.
