Junior: I enjoyed the college, it has a great environment with great teachers who will work with you if you are honest and open with them. I was terribly sick one semester and my teacher went out of his way to make sure I knew I was not gonna fail and that he'd catch me up if need be. He studied for hours after class with me, and I did end up passing! The counselors are wonderful people, very fun to stop and chit chat with when you're feeling bored of class. The library is a wonderful place to study, and make new study buddy partners, and the kitchen has absolutely amazing food, you've got to try it. The people here are very caring and help you with all your questions, they give you resources to people to help with whatever situation you may be having trouble with. Here at The University of Arkansas Hope Campus "they have lots of activity's for the students to have fun and be a part of a community with positive peers. Also here at U.A.H.T they have many groups to be apart of a positive influence in the local community's. The only thing I would say would be great to have here would be a student lounge and a place for after school activity's such as sports. The main reason I feel the need for such is for students like me who rides with a friend who is also a student. I get done with my last class at 2:45 and wait around here at the school until he gets out at 6:00 cause he is my only way home. Graduate Student: I started my first year at LCCC at the peak of the Pandemic in the fall of 2020. Every one of my classes for that first year were virtual classes met over zoom or asynchronously. Freshman: My experience in Garden City Community College has been great. I love the teachers and the program they have here. They take care of you and talk to make sure you are not struggling. This school has so much to provide to student who don't have a lot of money to afford going to college. They help you find scholarships or help with financial aid. Alum: A decent and affordable community college. Classes seem to be fast paced for those looking to spend full time and attention on their academic studies. I loved my teachers here, they were all very helpful and kind in answering questions, helping with work, and excusing absences. I attended this college twice, once for the CNA program, and one for the EMT program. I liked the hands on activity provided in the CNA program, and as a class we spend majority of our time with this and not in our books for 2 hours. I was able to complete this program while in high school as part of my school day. Overall, only a couple people did not pass the class. I loved the set up of this, and the way the bar is set high. Graduate Student: I think the social aspect of Cowley is amazing, and executed almost perfectly. Cowley is only a community college and not as big as other colleges, and definitely not as big as universities around it.
