Sophomore: I started school at Lanier Technical College in the fall of 2019. I was very impressed with the admissions process and registering for classes was very easy! I had no troubles with holds and was able to contact the registrar/admissions office with any questions I had. So far, all of the professors I've had were fantastic! Even when we went online during covid, they all communicated effectively and made the transition to online learning seamless. The best part about this college is how affordable it is! Freshman: I find Georgia Piedmont Tech to be a great school. Everything is made simple and convenient from my enrollment process to student orientation for the first day. Staff is very helpful, there are many resources to help with fees, childcare, job search, tutoring and much more. The multiple campus locations allows flexibility for students to attend from different areas surrounding Atlanta and be successful. Junior: I’ve been to southern crescent a few times however this time I’ve had the best experience. I believe that’s because of the revamping and the new staff. The financial aid process was super smooth, counselors are available, and each of my professors communication has been beyond excellent. The organization and growth of the school/ campus over all has been amazing to watch. They host events and activities for the students that keep us engaged and the time frame in which they inform us is perfect! we know things at least a week or 2 maybe even a month in advance and the event dates are always sent via email with reminders. My favorite thing thus far is the final grade posting.!! The past few semesters the grades have gone in immediately there’s no more than 2days max wait for final grades! All students know the anxiety of final grade postings so 2 days wait is great . If you are interested in starting a new career apply for SCTC it’s worth it, Fall is around the corner!... Sophomore: The school was great I've only been on campus to get books and tutoring but it was always a great space. The staff and teachers are very open to helping whenever needed. The online classes were very beneficial to me as i work and full time job and take care of my daughter. So it worked well with my schedule. Administration was very helpful with helping me navigate and enroll in new classes each semester. Other: The best school ever. I was there to learn VESL but it helped me lot. Their books are amazing and full of interesting words and lessons, especially the academic words that I needed to go to University. I felt a wonderful improvement on my way to talk, to read, to write and to listen. I am pretty much more confident to speak to anybody. They have excellent teachers, always ready to help the students. I love this school and I would recommend it to anybody who wants to learn English.
