Sophomore: I will describe my experience with Grand Valley State University with one word, great! The professors at Grand Valley are willing to help you with everything they got all you have to do is ask and they won't hesitate to help with what you need, because they want to see you succeed. You don't understand the material they've given you? Oh just go to their office visit hours! You're not able to attend office hours because you have a class during that time? Oh don't worry about it there's zoom meetings or they will try to meet you outside of office hours! The professors aren't the only thing I like about Grand Valley. I also like the environment, the building structures (you can get lost at first but you'll find your way if you can't then there's always a person near you, you can ask them for help), the scenery (especially the scenery) it's refreshing. Senior: At Madonna University, I had the ability to transfer 3 years of classes from a community college. The faculty at the school made the transition seamless. The advisors and financial aid office help answer whatever questions you have and make sure you are headed down the right path. As most universities, Madonna may seem expensive. The only problem I've had is that the school has limited scholarships that you can be available for. If I could change one thing, that's the only thing I would fix. Freshman: Overall, good school, friendly staff, and tutoring is always available. It's been wonderful being able to study there. I've been getting good grades so far, mostly B's and have been able to talk with the people there. The career fair they held helped me talk to people that might get me an internship. Which would overall help me to get a job after I graduate. They have plenty of places to study and people in classes are willing to work with you even if they don't know you. Sophomore: The Concordia University of Ann Arbor was a great first-year experience, while some of the facilities lack, nothing really is wrong with the education. Every teacher has a similar goal and message to share and are all on the common goal to further the students' university education to another level. Class sizes are small which is optimal for learning and having personal relations with the professor, I am in the Exercise Science undergraduate program at the university and have nothing but pros to say about the professors in the line of Health and Profession classes. Being a smaller school is obviously gonna result in smaller funds for sports programs, the gym is small, but we have unreal track, and football facilities.... Read 217 reviews
