Junior: I love Tech! It is incredibly easy to get in touch with professors and receive extra help through the ACE Tutoring Center (Which is included with tuition). You can recieve one-on-one tutoring from a student that has already taken the class, as well as participate in group study sessions for more universally difficult classes, such as calculus. I also found it easy to get involved through the many events that Tech offers throughout the year. While it's a small university, there are still many clubs and groups to join as well. Sophomore: I have loved my experience at UMW thus far! The Xperience One learning system and block scheduling are fantastic; especially if you are looking into a career in Education. The campus is beautiful and easy to navigate, and the staff are very friendly. If you enjoy the outdoors, then this is the place for you! There is no shortage of things to do outside, no matter the time of year.
