Freshman: This is my first year taking any college classes, I am working full time as a LNA (licensed nursing assistant) in the intensive care unit at my local hospital and have nothing but very helpful teachers. I am taking 4 classes to hopefully get into nursing school next fall. The teachers have been so kind and helpful when I need help. If you need help on an assignment they will gladly help you. If you are sick or if something came up with life and you couldn’t complete an assignment they tell you to just get it done as soon as you can. They also will let you redo assignments if you don’t like the grade you received. Although online schooling is very difficult with technology and not being able to immediately get an answer if you are in a class room, the teachers try to help you the best the can through e-mail or even a phone call or text message. Senior: The academic staff are amazing and will work with students to achieve their goals. Amazing psychology and theatre programs on campus. The campus is beautiful and easy to walk around. The food is decent, served buffet style. Covid certainly took a hit on the student population, but people are coming back. Some professors can be hard to work with, but every college has one or two. Junior: Goddard is amazing for students who are self motivated and excited to learn. The ability to build your own curriculum allows students to pursue what they are most interested in while fulfilling all degree requirements. As a small school, Goddard is a tight nit and diverse community of people who are passionate about changing the traditional way of Education. The schedule is almost entirely asynchronous, allowing students to fit in school with their schedule.
