Freshman: I love attending OSU-OKC. The staff and professors are vary helpful. I was nervous about attending college and failing, but the atmosphere at OSU has taught me to never give up on my dream. I think that this college is great for anyone who is interested in a smaller college and who does not want to live on campus. Niche User: Northeastern Oklahoma is where I attend my Concurrent classes. It has introduced me into college life in the best way. Graduate Student: Oklahoma City Community College was perfect for starting out my journey through college. I completed high school online, and before that I was in a private school. Because of this, I was a little intimidated integrating into a traditional school for the first time. OCCC allowed me to make this transition with no trouble. It truly is like a community in which people care about you and want you to succeed. The classes are smaller which makes it easy to connect with classmates and make friends. Alum: Being enrolled is great but getting enrolled is a bit of a mess. I wish there was more communication or instruction for getting everything set up once you’ve gotten your acceptance letter. Niche User: GCTC in Okmulgee is great. It's not too expensive and they have an incredible reputation. Communication with financial aid staff can be difficult at times and the school doesn't accept any student loans, so if you don't qualify for federal grants (i.e. Pell Grant, Oklahoma's Promise, etc) you'll be self-pay. The school is also mostly geared toward their high school students and keeping them engaged, so at times adult students are put in situations that pertain more to teenagers (i.e. assemblies)...
