Alum: North Dakota State University was some of the best experiences I have had in my life. This includes academics such as internships as well as extracurriculars. There was always something going on during the week and on the weekends to get you involved in the NDSU community or the Fargo community at large. When I got in to my major, my classes became more focused and smaller so that I was better able to focus and be more comfortable in class. Some of the larger class sizes did not make it easy for me to ask questions in class. My overall experience at NDSU was great. I spent a lot of time on campus doing homework in the various spaces available. My one request is tunnels or skywalks for the brutal North Dakota winters... Sophomore: The university is small, which is excellent for accessing professors for help and assistance. Sometimes it is too small socially. The campus is quaint and beautiful during all seasons of the year. If anything could change, it would definitely be the food! As it is difficult to prepare large amounts of food for many students, there could be more offerings for students to get ample nutrition. The housing options offered are nice and expanding, however, it would be nice if there were more single rooms offered for students to have their own quiet spaces.
