Northwestern offers a wide range of courses on many different topics and because of the number of courses required to complete most majors (12-16), students in the College of Arts and Sciences are able to explore classes outside their majors at their leisure. Alum: UGA is definitely a large, State University which was a fit for me since I was unsure as to what career path I was initially interested in. So many choices! But it gets much smaller and intimate over time as you get through the core classes and begin to specialize. I joined a fraternity while I was there, but you certainly don't need to be a part of Greek life to find a multitude of social opportunities. It's very easy to make friends at UGA. The sports are amazing and the academics continue to strengthen as the years go by. There really aren't any obvious weaknesses to discuss. The only thing I will say is that the number of students is stressing the available infrastructure in terms of parking and housing. If UGA will focus on increasing the number of dorm rooms and parking spaces then it would help a lot. Junior: Indiana University Bloomington is truly the most welcoming atmosphere I have ever been fortunate to experience. Freshman: I absolutely love attending Holy Cross. As a rising sophomore, I have very few complaints. I had a great experience with my random roommate, the room was very spacious and clean when moving in, and the building had many relaxing/study spaces, as well as a laundry room and kitchen. As for the campus itself, it is very hilly which can get tiring but is an absolutely stunning campus to walk around, and the longest walk is a total of 10 minutes. The food was wonderful with many options - a cafe in the science building with the best sandwiches, a coffee shop adjacent to a lobby shop filled with medicine, toiletries, food, and drinks, and of course Kimball - main meals, as well as lower kimball with sushi and Mexican food daily. Junior: What I love most about going to Texas Tech are the people I've met there. I've become close friends with cancer survivors, people from halfway around the world, and people who've led protests! Almost everyone there is kind and willing to give you the time of day to just talk if you want. Classes at Tech are also excellent. The professors and instructors do an excellent job of covering material and are usually very patient with the student body. Speaking of which, Texas Tech has helped me to discover my passion for mathematics. Sophomore: I love that I get to be a part of Marching Mizzou and that the campus atmosphere is super engaging and exciting. Going to football games is a fun highlight, especially getting to perform on Faurot Field with some of my friends and peers. I wish that there was more to be done about campus dining and offering more nutritious options on the go. I also wish that campus parking would be improved, but I understand that it's a busy college town with lots of people coming and going every day. Despite that, I enjoy my classes, and I have met a lot of amazing people and professors.
