Sophomore: Kansas State University couldn't be more perfect for me and for what I'm majoring in. They have so many resources for students for all kinds of situations including research opportunities, on-campus jobs, tutoring, financial assistance and so much more. All of the instructors that I've had have been very open about expectations and how to succeed, and there are many advisors, instructors, etc, that you can reach out to when needing assistance or information. Junior: I enjoyed the college, it has a great environment with great teachers who will work with you if you are honest and open with them. I was terribly sick one semester and my teacher went out of his way to make sure I knew I was not gonna fail and that he'd catch me up if need be. He studied for hours after class with me, and I did end up passing! The counselors are wonderful people, very fun to stop and chit chat with when you're feeling bored of class. The library is a wonderful place to study, and make new study buddy partners, and the kitchen has absolutely amazing food, you've got to try it. The only thing I can say I was not a fan of, was how small the dorms were and the lack of amount of things to do around campus as groups other than sports.... Read 156 reviews

Sophomore: Ive been a student at Barton County Community College on and off for the past handful of years, and am currently a full time student in the Paramedic Program. BCCC has always being incredibly accommodating to me as a student. Particularly, the financial aid department has gone above and beyond to help me make sure everything financial is in order. Especially notable is one of the financial aid ladies bending over backwards, when I lost track of a particular scholarship, in order to make sure I had the help and coverage I needed. On multiple occasions, my teachers and instructors have helped me through class, especially when dealing with personal issues and complications. All staff encounters have been phenomenal, and they truly embody caring about their students. BCCC offers an extensive variety of classes, both in-class and online. Sophomore: So far, I've had a great experience attending this college. The environment was nice, and I had the opportunity to attend all of my classes that were on campus with no problems. This college also allowed me to attend classes in the evenings and online. I liked that because I work during the day, and they could adjust my class to my work schedule. I also like the variety of career paths that DC3 offers, and it expands opportunities for each of the students attending here. Junior: If you are doing LSEC classes for the army, this college is great. The only thing that isn’t the best about Barton is that you can’t have a flexible schedule. You will have to be in class Monday-Friday unless a class says other wise (which isn’t very often). The office people are super friendly though and are very accommodating.
