Alum: I was a commuter and WSU is very commuter friendly, except for the cost of parking tickets! If you are a commuter I highly recommend investing into a parking pass, I understand the upfront cost is high but it will save you in the long run. The education you receive at WSU is top-notch, the professors truly care for your well-being if you are present and trying to do your best, never be afraid to reach out for help. Students are always willing to help other students, so truly do not be shy when it comes to the betterment of yourself. The campus is lively and enjoyable, there is always something happening that is enjoyable if you need a break from the learning mode we all put ourselves in when attending college. Senior: At Madonna University, I had the ability to transfer 3 years of classes from a community college. The faculty at the school made the transition seamless. The advisors and financial aid office help answer whatever questions you have and make sure you are headed down the right path. As most universities, Madonna may seem expensive. The only problem I've had is that the school has limited scholarships that you can be available for. If I could change one thing, that's the only thing I would fix. Freshman: I am a freshman at Eastern Michigan University, I enjoyed my first semester a lot. The beautiful campus of Eastern provides many events and clubs to join, there is never a dull moment! The library is a great place to study either alone in quiet areas or even with a group of friends. There is a variety of food choices around the campus such as going to Starbucks in the student center for a quick coffee to eating at a sushi bar in the same student center. The curriculum Eastern offers is diverse there are many different classes, online/hybrid/in-person that have great professors.
