Senior: D'Youville University is an incredible place. This is my last year on campus and seeing all of the growth and progress over my five years has been amazing. The study spaces have been completely transformed and there is always something to do. If you're thinking about coming here just do it! You won't regret it and you'll have the time of your life. There are some people that find things to complain about all the time but that's typical. I'm so proud to be a Saint and I'm so sad that I graduate this year year. The friends I have made are incredible and will be a part of me for life. Insider tip: Don't try to get Starbucks during Red Time or you'll be waiting forever. Freshman: The classes are fairly easy even being online. I was given very helpful direction from teachers who answered within five minutes. Someone was always available ifI had a question or needed help. I was intimidated at first about being online because I did not want to be too disconnected, but the teachers do a great job at keeping you connected and immersed despite being online. there were a lot of extra educational resources and tutoring services offered registration was easy making my schedule was made very easy by my advisor. Freshman: As someone who attends the Niagara Falls Culinary Insititute campus, I have absolutely fallen in love with the school and become obsessed with all my classes. I always feared that there wasn't an education available to me quite like the Culinary Institute of America, but I feel as though NFCI achieves all that and more. For one, all the equipment and classrooms are brand new, always tidy and organized- making it the perfect area to learn. All the chefs are very knowledgeable, no matter their specialization- and I have never learned so much from such a small group of people before. The small class sizes make it extremely easy for one on one conversation with teachers and classmates, as well as problem solving when necessary. The opportunities that are presented here as well absolutely make all the tuition worth it, from galas to buffets and the on-campus restaurant, and I am so eternally grateful that all of this is offered near me.... Freshman: Trocaire is an amazing college and a great fit for me. I take half my courses online and half in person. Everyone is friendly and always willing to help. All the instructors I have had so far have been amazing to work with. There is tutoring available, which I have taken advantage of. I also belong to a program called Trio, which gives me extra help to insure attaining my goals to graduate. I have attended several workshops to help with studying and taking notes. I even received a gift card for a local grocery store! That gave me the opportunity to study more without worrying working extra hours to cover bills.
