Sophomore: UU's environment is overall positive and welcoming and meeting new friends is easy. The school prioritizes learning and student success, and most professors have that same philosophy. However, there is a professor here who unapologetically uses racial slurs and diversity could be more of a priority as many POC students here have less support and have to deal with things like that professor.... Sophomore: One thing I love about SUNY Brockport is the environment, everyone on this campus is extremely welcoming and when I walk through this campus I feel safe even at night. Another thing I love about this campus is the communication. The professors here are extremely quick and thorough with their responses whether it be through email or in person. A change I would like to see is parking, it is challenging, especially during the winter as a full time college student working part time having to park so far away from the building I am residing in. The parking passes here are usually sold out and you have to be put on a waiting list until they fully clear out all the old passes which usually takes months.
