Freshman: I can't say too much as I am a freshman, however, I've been loving my experience at this college. The campus is stunning and always super clean. The professors are amazing and truly care about your education. Everyone is very friendly and it's easy to make friends. They offer great academic events that bring the students together and even have study rooms available in the library. Another cool thing I recently learned is that the school brings in therapy dogs during finals week! I thought this was so unique and cool! Truly one of the best colleges in Nevada.... Graduate Student: My experience at Great Basin College was a stressful but very good one. I did the electricial program which is a very good program but so much gets thrown at us at once which made the school year challenging, but having the right instructor there which I did made it easier to make it through the program and graduate. I met many new people who I have become close with and am grateful to have experience what I have at this school. There is not much I would change other than the pace of the program I attended, but I understand that in this field of work there is so much to be learned that makes it difficult to slow things down. Sophomore: Great Basin has been a great starter college to complete generals. I have had primarily pleasant interactions with the professors for my in-person classes. Online has been a bit harder as it can take a while to get in touch with professors, and in a few classes, the teaching and guidance were minimal, which made it hard to learn the class material....
