Freshman: The University of Mississippi, also called Ole Miss, has been an amazing experience for me so far. I've only been in the university for about two months, and in that short period of time, I've been able to do many things. I especially love the very high quality of the professors. They've exceeded every single one of my expectations, and I really enjoy attending their classes! I've also had a really great experience with the International Student & Scholar Services; they're staff has worked hard to ensure that I get everything I need as an international student. The campus is really beautiful, and everything seems to blend in pretty well. There's also a great sports scene if you're into that! Of course, there are some things that could use some work, such as the quality of housing and the variety of food options offered on campus. Sophomore: I have made some of the best of friends here at East Mississippi Community College. Learning there as been such a beautiful journey. Every professor I have had was extremely helpful. Class sizes are pretty small, so I received as much one-on-one time with my professors as I needed. They also offer free in person and online tutoring, which has helped me a great deal. I am so glad I when t a community college before going to a university. The amount of resources there is very overwhelming. Sophomore: I do not believe I get to fully judge the experience of Pearl River Community College as I attend the smaller campus and not the main campus. However, from my experience at the local campus, the students and staff have been very kind and welcoming. The teachers, that I have had, are very understanding and dedicated. Alum: I loved my time at Mississippi Delta. It's a small campus, so it's easier to get to know people. The instructors are willing to work with you and really care about you. They are also very knowledgeable about their subjects. Their website is very easy to navigate, and they use canvas so you can always see your grades and homework assignments. They also host all kinds of activities for students. The campus is nice, and they are currently taking on new building projects to make it even nicer. It is also a very diverse campus with various groups being represented. Not to mention, it is also way cheaper than attending a university.
