Freshman: Overall I have had a fantastic experience with Community College of Denver. From the very beginning after submitting my FAFSA, to picking my degree plan, through enrolling in classes, they have been quick, efficient and very helpful. I did run into a small hiccup at the very beginning as I had originally filled out my application for the Fall/Spring semesters of the 23-24 year; however, I quickly changed my mind and wanted to begin taking classes as early as the Summer 23. While this may not have caused me any trouble if I had selected the correct major from the start, I ran into some trouble after changing from doing a certificate plan straight into the AAS degree plan, and it took some finessing to fix my enrollment to correctly show the degree plan, and therefore allow financial aid to cover my classes. Freshman: I spent some time between high school and college working. Throughout my time spent working, I fell out-of-touch with my scholarly side and I lost many of the good study habits I previously had that were academic-related. Well, PCC is the perfect "starter" school. PCC has allowed me to dip my toes back into academics in a digestible manner that has allowed me to start my roots strong in my educational future. The cost of education here is acceptable and fair, with no unnecessary gouging in sight. The faculty is heartfelt, dedicated, and inspiring to say the least and have helped me learn how college works. I believe that colleges do not understand how undigestible and confusing the process and concept of college is and the success coaches here break it down in human-terms what it means to be in school again. Junior: It’s a great school and there are some amazing opportunities and programs. This school offers NPS, Dental Hygiene, and aviation maintenance. You can receive your associates degree and have any amazing small town experience for an great price. This school is high and good quality education. I love this school it has changed my life for the better and I love the small town. It’s a really safe environment and a great educational environment because there are less distractions.
