University of Southern Mississippi
Senior: There are many things I love about southern miss! My personal favorite is the setup of campus - I'm a very directionally challenged individual, and even I could navigate the campus after a short time. The campus offers a variety of places to eat, study, and participate in extracurricular events. My favorite places are the Payne recreation center and the Cook Library.
Of course, there are some downsides. I disliked the credit hour cap each semester - why can I take 19 credit hours but not 20? Why do intercession courses count toward the full session? While that has yet (and, hopefully, never will) affected my degree progress, I have had several friends and classmates who took a long time to graduate because they were only allowed to take up to 6 classes a semester.
