Junior: I enjoyed the college, it has a great environment with great teachers who will work with you if you are honest and open with them. I was terribly sick one semester and my teacher went out of his way to make sure I knew I was not gonna fail and that he'd catch me up if need be. He studied for hours after class with me, and I did end up passing! The counselors are wonderful people, very fun to stop and chit chat with when you're feeling bored of class. The library is a wonderful place to study, and make new study buddy partners, and the kitchen has absolutely amazing food, you've got to try it. The only thing I can say I was not a fan of, was how small the dorms were and the lack of amount of things to do around campus as groups other than sports.... Read 155 reviews

Junior: My experience here has been great! The professors are very attentive and accesible and the school offers many amenities that help the students succeed. KCKCC is highly involved with its surrounding communities and offers so many clubs and programs for anyone to join. Counselors have helped me so much and always reach out to make sure that I’m doing okay. I would say that the school could do a bit better on offering class times that work for ALL student schedules (not just for the high school kids who may be taking courses). Alum: I cannot speak highly enough about WSU Tech. I met all my favorite teachers there in the Information Technology program. Great opportunities for students including those in high school. You can start college programs through WSU Tech as early as your Sophomore year in high school. I started my Sophomore year and graduated from the IT program my Senior year. WSU Tech offers amazing classes and programs in Aviation, Healthcare, Construction, Manufacturing, Information Technology, and everything in between across its two campuses. Alum: Hutchinson is a great option for those looking at earning some online credits as well as working on an associate's degree on campus. The online infrastructure through this college is robust, quality, and pretty affordable. While some areas are less equipped, the sciences department is a standout. For those looking at on-campus classes, HutchCC has done a fantastic job maintaining the physical campus and it really is a standout community college nestled in a sleepy town. The library is particularly great for a school of this size. Plus those interested in astronomy or space history will be thrilled that the Cosmosphere is right next to campus and offers some world-class exhibits and learning opportunities.
