Other: One of the best community colleges out there. I am currently a dual-enrollment student and coming in, I was worried that I would get made fun of for my age, but it was the complete opposite! The friends I have made at Montgomery College truly encourage me to become the best version of myself. They push me to come out of my comfort zone and try new things. Additionally, the professors are all so sweet, understanding, and are readily available for help whenever needed. Beyond the classroom, there are a plethora of clubs to get involved in and many tutoring centers to seek assistance from. My personal favorite was the Reading and Writing Center. Senior: I love BOWIE STATE UNIVERSITY, If I had to say my favorite thing about attending Bowie is that it is a big, loving, supporting family there. Everyone knows everyone and you can talk to whoever about whatever and not be judged or looked at differently. When I first came to be, I was accepted for who I was as a person, everyone is very friendly and open to getting to know you. I would definitely recommend BSU to any and everyone because it is so fun being there. The professors are very helpful and kind and are always willing to help you and they will go out their way to make sure that you as a student understand what they are teaching. I love my school so much! Watch the classes they set up for you, I had at least one wrong class every quarter that was not in my degree plan. Freshman: Strayer is AWESOME! My recruiter Patrick Shaw got me lined up and I was enrolled before I knew it. My professors Edinger and Bonner are super helpful. Sophomore: During my time at Capitol Technology University, I was impressed by the strong sense of community among students and faculty. The small class sizes fostered a close-knit environment where professors were approachable and readily available for questions and discussions.
