Senior: I don't know where we all got the idea that community colleges are sad, under equipped schools for 40-year-olds and trade students, because SPCC is basically the opposite. Don't get me wrong, it is a humble school with only 3 or 4 buildings on campus, but the academics, cost, equipment available student to teacher ratio, and overall sense of community can't be beat. I absolutely love the small class sizes and the opportunity to build relationships with the professors. I also am always surprised at the equipment and resources available to all students (especially in the art department which has every art supply your heart could desire). The student body and faculty are so involved and are always there to make coming to campus a great experience! I wish their online courses were a little more dynamic and engaging but overall I am really enjoying my time at SPCC as I am challenged by the rigorous courses and supportive teachers....
