I come from a challenging background. I was raised in a situation that I was trafficked in. I had to survive my initial obstacles in order to pursue a path of success. University of Central Oklahoma has been understanding with my obstacles and background. They have a great advocacy network for students.
There have been a few challenges I've faced as an adult. Which include but aren't limited to; being a single parent, having a disability and having been subjected to a hate crime involving gun violence with my kids.
