Junior: To start, living on my own in the city has been an authentic experience that has helped me grow as a young adult, taking on new responsibilities and meeting different people! Overall, college is what you make it. There are so many resources and opportunities, some clearly offered and pushed, and some just found by research or who you know (so be friendly and make connections!). Regarding classes, my professors are very inspiring, with expertise and experience. With the educational aspect, you'll learn the concrete information (rules and details of a concept) by studying and reading; you have to put in your own effort if you want to learn, either on your own time out of class, or for an assignment. Freshman: I loved Stevens Institute of Technology. I was first introduced to this college through my friends and family and fell in love with it at first sight! Now, I always enjoy studying with friends both old and new who are just as engaged in their academics as I am. To add on, I love the increased proximity to the city compared to where I reside at home. In this campus, I constantly have a view of New York, and I love visiting there all of the time with my friends. One of my favorite parts of Stevens was the dining experience. There was always a large amount of areas we can eat from, as well as many outside areas we could use our GrubHub Bucks on. I was always in a good mood due to the fact that I could order whatever I wanted, practically whenever I wanted. To conclude, the close parts and small amount of students allowed me to participate in classes that held a relatively small amount of students. Junior: It's been great so far! The campus is always overflowing with people, there are a lot of opportunities to connect with others and lots of fun events. Every year there are multiple festivals and carnivals that the university holds to keep the students engaged. There are also many programs that the university sponsors and supports in order to help the students achieve their personal professional goals. Junior: I have had a fantastic experience at Fairfield university! I love the community here and how friendly everyone is. It is super easy to make friends in classes and during clubs and activities. It is really nice to be able to make meaningful connections with professors with the small class sizes and Fairfield guarantees an internship during your four years so that is a nice perk. Alum: AMAZING education, amazing people, amazing environment. I just graduated with my bachelors and will go back for masters! You will never feel like you are alone and you can always reach out to their amazing staff who is always there whenever you need them. The advising department as well as the financial aid department are super helpful and attentive to students. Senior: Hi! I am an exercise science major and I can honestly say that the professors I have had are great. They have always been avaliable and super approachable. I was pretty anxious before going to college because I though professors would be mad and annoyed by students. But what I found out is that they love to help. Whether it be to see them during office hours about confusions during lectures, going over exams, and even to have a chat with other students. Sophomore: University of Bridgeport is an excellent school in terms of curriculum, faculty, and, of course, the radiant and huge campus. You have a wide array of majors to choose from, and the extra curricular opportunities are amazing! This school is also very much suitable for international students, considering I am an international student and I fit it in very nicely, just as other students from over 30 countries who were with me during the Fall '21 intake. However, the only concerning factor about UB is the quality of students; I have a feeling sometimes that University of Bridgeport has kind of a loose attitude about accepting students and therefore you are in there with all kinds of bright and otherwise inclined students.
