Sophomore: Although the University of Tulsa is known for being expensive, they are very generous with scholarships (I myself have managed to pay for the full cost of attendance with their help). The small class sizes are a great way to connect with both classmates and professors, and the relatively small campus size makes it easy to get to closely-scheduled classes. Plus, it's a lot easier to enroll in classes when there are fewer people competing for a spot.
As for looks, the campus is beautiful -- it's got a lot of gorgeous flora and excellent sights. I feel like the ambience of the university is a huge factor of why I love attending.
There are dozens of resources on campus for pretty much everything, from tutoring to career planning. The academic advisors do a great job making sure students are taking the classes they need to graduate and are interested in.
