Senior: I have enjoyed my experience so much at Gulf Coast State College. The professors are all so nice and helpful, with very well designed courses. The class sizes are smaller which gives much better attention to each student for their education. The students have been so fun! The campus is diverse and there are events and games often. I really enjoy their digital media program as it goes for studies this has been the best college experience I've had out of three others. The best thing about Gulf Coast State College is the tuition rates. They are affordable and offer scholarship opportunities within the school to help students pursue their brightest future possible with the highest ROI possible. I have already had several career opportunities present themselves to me before I have even graduated, and they are all exciting! Alum: Overall my experience was great! I got to meet other creatives, not just in my degree program digital art and design but, film, media communications and music. The degree programs at Full Sail University are set at an accelerated pace so you're able to get you bachelors in two years instead of four years as usually. This is because you're taking two classes every month and are essentially in class almost everyday of the week, it's kinda like a job. You'll get access to all the current software used in your field of study by professionals and depending on the degree program a hands on experience with going on film sets, sound stages and more. I do recommend choosing your degree program wisely as some of this stuff you can learn on your own at home. An example would be the adobe creative cloud for graphic design. Sophomore: I like my college! There is a staffing shortage of professors, but most of the professors I have are very nice. Polk State offers a lot of student support via free tutoring on campus or online, a food pantry, and a good deal of financial assistance. I attend this college through a scholarship. My counselor is like my at-school mom and cares for me beyond education, but as a person. I am also a queer person and the staff have been kind and accepting of my identity. I am not involved much with student social activities, but their are always plenty of events to attend each month, no matter your interests.
