Freshman: Flexibility is probably one of my favorite perks to being at Southeast Tech. The amount of options I have regarding the days and times of classes makes scheduling around certain time frames practical (particularly when I have other commitments). Southeast Tech gives you control over the direction you take your college education which means you have a say in what you make of your classes. Not everybody fits the standard mold of what a college student is and that is what I love about it! If there is anything I have learned while being in college, it is my purpose as a student. I have come to understand how much I am able to accomplish. I have come to realize that I really do love going to school. I look forward to learning something new everyday. I have come to realize that I am not going to college for others. I am going to college for myself. I am going to learn my passion and I am enjoying every bit of it. I am making the most of it. Freshman: Dakota State University is very good college to attend. The campus is fairly small and simple, so it is very easy to navigate from place to place. Everyone on campus is very friendly and they will all make you feel at home! All the professors want you to succeed, and it shows. The food on campus is great, and the dorm rooms are perfect. Sophomore: My experience with NAU Online has been quite positive! Despite the fact that the courses are entirely online, having a dedicated success coach and professors who genuinely care about your success has made a significant difference. The quality of education isn't compromised in the online format; NAU puts in considerable effort to ensure their online courses are engaging. Many of my classes incorporated discussions, fostering connections among students. Another great aspect of NAU Online is the accessibility of success coaches whenever needed. Admittedly, the courses heavily rely on students' self-motivation for completing coursework, watching lectures, and building connections, which could be challenging if it's unfamiliar territory.
