Sophomore: Coming to Central Arkansas was one of the best life choices. Along with making amazing friends and memories, I have greatly enjoyed the academic aspect of college. Most of my days I wake up excited and ambitious about attending class and have loved my professors and their commitment to my education. The accredited programs have really allowed me to put full faith in the university leading me to academic success, most of the professors that I have been in class with have taught in a very effective way that allows me to truly comprehend the material from one semester to the next. On top of being a student, being a cheerleader brings a whole different aspect of college to life. Being able to represent my university and become to connected to much of the student body is rewarding both in and out of the classroom. The staff assisted me with all the necessary paperwork, touring the campus, and providing Welcome Ambassadors who showed me particular areas relating to my interests. In addition, they took the time to visit high school seniors in the various area local schools. They helped me evaluate my future needs for funds, living quarters, and time would be. They also made certain that all courses with them would transfer and count toward higher-level degrees. Upon my visit, I was shown the various arts, photography, and geography facilities. I was allowed to tour the student housing and dormitories. Sophomore: So excited to graduate from my small town high school, but then going to college can seem scary and nervous to get signed up for classes! My family comes from low income and never completed high school, so I’ve decided to change that history for my next generation and hopefully to help others. Freshman: The University of Grantham is amazing! The college's Administration Department will literally do an entire walk-through of enrollment, the college's Financial Aid Department will assist with any questions you have regarding financial aid or the application process, and then once you have started the courses and course content is immaculately easy and understandable. I couldn't have picked a better college! All of my courses are online and accessible 24/7. My grades are continually updated weekly, and the courses are lined out by week. For example, I am a full-time online student, I have eight weeks per semesters to complete two courses and each course has weekly content. Sign into your college account, go to blackboard, and click course content. There you are both classes and every bit of work you will have to complete will be available to you.
