Sophomore: The University of Arizona has been a transformative experience for me. My involvement in Greek life offered not only memorable social events but also emphasized leadership and community service. The campus boasts a lively social scene, ensuring every student finds their niche. Academically, the English and Business departments were exceptional. The English department nurtured my literary passion, while Business provided practical real-world experience. Sophomore: My experience at NAU has been a dream. All of my professors this past year were hard-working and gave their all when it came to their students. I always felt supported by the university through their facilities and programs such as Peer Jacks, free math tutoring, and even the courses such as First Year Seminar, which was the perfect introduction into a new place with new people. With every college there are some downsides however. I found that considering the amount of undergraduates at the university, the lack of staffing for counselors made it almost impossible to be seen. In order to get a meeting with my counselor about upcoming class registration, I have to book an appointment months in advance in order to get ahead of their busy schedule. I think this small thing could be fixed with just adding some people in that department in order to accommodate for the university enrollment.
