Senior: I think a lot of great professors are taken for granted, by faculty and by students (including myself at one point). I had an amazing time with the research opportunity I had, but I think they should talk more about those opportunities because students are left in the dark. I was able to find it because of another student. I applied to the work and study program for 2 consecutive years and they never contacted me. I even went to the library for 2 weeks, almost everyday, because I was trying to get on a list for a job, and they kept telling me to come back later, until the last day when they told me they had just sent the list and I couldn't get on it. I don't think it's a bad university, but just keep in mind the students have to stay on top of things and insist on what they want/need. The faculty, staff, employees are nice (in my experience) and it has a good program variety.... Read 164 reviews

Sophomore: What I like, primarily, about the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico is that the campus is relatively small, and everybody knows each other. Therefore, a friendly cooperative environment is created. Additionally, the professors take their jobs extremely seriously and are always willing to help or provide any type of guidance. As a result, you are continuously learning and motivated to keep up with your work. Graduate Student: I graduated this year from Caribbean University and had my bachelor degree Cum Laude on Accounting program. My experience, both, on site and online, was an awesome journey that I started on 1999. I dropped college on 2002 to enlist the Army. On 2020, when the pandemic started, I decided to continue and finish what I started 20 years ago. I enrolled for online courses, for my very first time and it could not be a better experience for me. Back in 1999 to 2002, younger and full of energy, ready to learn how to be an accountant, I had the best teachers ever, that encourage me to give more and more. I felt that they really cared for my future. When I enrolled online on 2020, to my surprise some of my teachers were the same from 1999! And the greatest feeling, they remember me!
