Sophomore: This community college has helped me a lot. When I needed help with my academic plan and choosing the right path, I have been offered several knowledgeable advisors right away. The admission staff, instructors, advisors, and even my fellow students have helped me obtain A's in all my classes last semester! Every time I needed further guidance for my projects and tasks, the instructors were there giving me all the information and advice that I need. Junior: Since I was so unsure about college I didn't want to just not go to college. I had looked into different colleges to give it a chance at least for one whole year we decided that BCTC would be the best fit for me. With two different major changes I am so a happy to say that I will be graduating in December of 2023. Freshman: I love Western Kentucky University. WKU is a perfect size for a student who does not prefer a large party school but still wants to socialize! Junior: The fact that both my instructors and the other students at the institution in Campbellsville are always so kind and friendly makes attending to class a delight for me, and I get the sense that everyone there is rooting for your academic success, which is motivating in and of itself. Sophomore: Attending Elizabethtown Community & Technical College has been a very special experience for me. My mom, dad, brother all attended ectc, so it feels extra special to be continuing that on, almost like a tradition. Although many young people would prefer to attend a university, in my opinion what makes ectc so special is the fact that it is a community college, it feels like a small town where everyone knows each other. I have found myself making great relationships with students and teachers. One thing I would want to change at ectc is the activity rate, I want to encourage more students to help out around the school or even join clubs. For example, tutoring is a great way to help our peers feel more confident and comfortable in the classroom, which may also make our school as a whole look better academic wise. Sophomore: The staff and everyone I have interacted with at WKCTC has been incredibly friendly and helpful. You can tell everyone enjoys what they do. I would say as far as improvements go, in my major they are understaffed which makes it tougher or current instructors.
