Graduate Student: Overall, I enjoyed my time at Bucks County Community College. I started as an engineering major, which ended up being a mistake. The prerequisites are very tedious and redundant and most of the STEM teachers are not good at their job. They were all great people but just did not know how to teach students. Once I changed my major to Film Production, I had a much better experience with much better teachers. Sophomore: I am going to be a second-year student at Montgomery County Community College this semester at the Blue Bell campus. In-person, the faculty is extremely welcoming and the quality of learning is great! I struggle with anxiety yet nobody made me feel uncomfortable or that I was out-of-place. The professors are extremely understanding and are willing to work with you if you ever need assistance. Unfortunately, I couldn't say the same for the online classes. I took summer classes this year and it was very difficult. The professors were not easy to contact and the workload was hard to manage. However, despite these challenges, the students in my classes were very helpful. We had the same issues most of the time and we worked through them together. Overall, I would recommend enrolling here because I had mostly positive experiences and I learned a lot of valuable information. Other: I am an incoming freshman for the 2023/24 year. I toured many colleges in the North East Region but decided on ESU for several reasons. From my first visit I knew I was home but held off making my decision for a few weeks. The accepted student day and the orientation on June 6th confirmed my decision. Sophomore: I’ve been going to CCAC for 3 semesters now to pursue an associates degree in psychology and Education and it’s been great so far! I really feel like the professors at CCAC are here to teach you something and they will help you to get through all of your struggles. The professors I had always have been understanding of any problems that came up and they were very approachable. I’m glad to have chosen this college as an affordable start before transferring to a 4 year institution. CCAC also offers a variety of clubs and activities that’s are fun to explore. Alum: Elizabethown College is a tight community with dedicated professors and cheerful students. I attended in the 80's and the spirit has remained unchanged. There are many suburban high school students looking for a comfortable environment like Etown. Living on campus is quiet and college community oriented. The academics are excellent, on par with colleges that have higher rankings. While the college is no longer officially tied to the Brethren church, there is a history of acceptance, service and tolerance that is a strong reason for some students to consider Etown. While there is no Greek scene at the college there was a lively party scene on and off campus when I went there.
