Freshman: I believe that the University of Delaware is a 4/5 star school for many reasons! First and foremost, UD has a strong academic program. The professors are knowledgeable and engaging, and the course offerings are diverse and relevant. The school also has a number of resources available to help students succeed, including tutoring services, study groups, and writing centers. In addition to academics, UD has a vibrant campus life. There are a plethora of clubs and organizations to get involved in, as well as sporting events, concerts, and other social activities. The school is located in a beautiful and historic town, which provides plenty of opportunities for exploration and enjoyment. Despite these positives, the food on campus can be a bit of a disappointment. While there are a few dining options that are decent, many of the options are overpriced and not particularly tasty. Graduate Student: I am currently 1 year into a two MS program for UX Design. Moving across the country to attend school is not a new thing, but doing it with a family was daunting to say the least. Jefferson has been an incredible school and my program has been worth every penny. I am currently a full-time employee, student, and dad. My professors and cohort members have been amazing to work with. Their knowledge and backgrounds are diverse which has helped me learn and grow in my current career as a Product Manager, as well as prepare for my future career as a UX Designer. My professors come from incredible backgrounds and are able to provide daily examples/experiences that apply to the courses I am taking. Graduate Student: Overall, I enjoyed my time at Bucks County Community College. I started as an engineering major, which ended up being a mistake. The prerequisites are very tedious and redundant and most of the STEM teachers are not good at their job. They were all great people but just did not know how to teach students. Once I changed my major to Film Production, I had a much better experience with much better teachers. I think the biggest thing I think should be done differently is allowing students more freedom in classes and how/when they take them. The best part was how friendly all of the staff were.... Sophomore: I am going to be a second-year student at Montgomery County Community College this semester at the Blue Bell campus. In-person, the faculty is extremely welcoming and the quality of learning is great! I struggle with anxiety yet nobody made me feel uncomfortable or that I was out-of-place. The professors are extremely understanding and are willing to work with you if you ever need assistance. Unfortunately, I couldn't say the same for the online classes. I took summer classes this year and it was very difficult. The professors were not easy to contact and the workload was hard to manage. However, despite these challenges, the students in my classes were very helpful. We had the same issues most of the time and we worked through them together. Overall, I would recommend enrolling here because I had mostly positive experiences and I learned a lot of valuable information. Junior: There are several reasons why my experience attending Wilmington University is great. The college environment is healthy and friendly. The accounting program that I’m in is doing a great job teaching me the information and giving me the tools that I need to succeed in the accounting field. The knowledge of have gained from the overall business program (as opposed to solely the finance core classes) has tremendously helped me expand my usefulness to my future employer(s). Some of the online classes are better than others because some of the professors have surpassed others by using video lectures, Zoom meetings, written and presentative resources, and just overall did better than other professors. I think all schools probably have this fluctuation in consistency. I am completely satisfied with the education I have received and WilmU and equally as important, the cost was affordable enough where I could pay cash.
