Junior: Speaking of the current COVID 19 situations, Transition to online learning went very smoothly. They kept up very well with any covid19 patients and were quick on delivering any new updates on the current situation, including the issues of voting for the new grading system.
All of my professors reflected this situation into the course curriculum right away. They made adjustments to the weight of the exams, lab reports, and assignments, etc so that majority of students agree on what they learn and required to accomplish for the rest of the semester.
Zoom premium service was provided so I did not have any problem with working on 3-4 different group projects, and presentations in the month of the semester.
The optional P/F system was very reasonable and definitely helped students to be adjusted to the new learning system.

Junior: I absolutely love Rutgers. Having 5 different campuses in New Brunswick / Piscataway allows each student to get a unique experience at Rutgers. Each student has a different experience depending on where they live, their major, and their extracurriculars. What is so special is that students intertwine amongst each other, and groups of friends consistently overlap. Rutgers is so diverse, and so many people learn about new cultures, religions, and ethnicities from attending school here. You gain so much more than just an education at Rutgers. Lastly, the professors at Rutgers really care about each student. Professors are extremely diligent in providing one on one assistance whenever needed, and go out of their way to ensure every student feels comfortable with the material. Overall, I could not imagine myself anywhere but Rutgers!

Ramapo College of New Jersey

Senior: Coming to Ramapo was the best decision I made. I transferred in after my freshman year from another 4-year college. Coming in as a sophomore was a difficult adjustment but Ramapo has a wonderful transfer program that eased the transition.
I majored in Education and the Teacher Ed program is fantastic. It is one of the top programs in the state and is well-known for producing great educators. I got so much clinical experience in real schools from my very first semester.
I was also actively involved with Greek life. It is not a Greek like heavy school, but there is a strong Greek community. Regardless of the letters you wear, all members of Greek life have strong bonds.
I was also in the Honors College, which challenged me academically and helped me be the best I could be. It provided so many opportunities for academic growth as well as social opportunities.

Sophomore: Firstly, would like to ask you all why we all have to choose our preferred school from varieties? Isn't it because you want a college of preference, where, you could at least stand out by making a difference, right. Well if you still want that perfect fit school then NYCCT is a great choice. Well groomed professors, they work with you if you are ready to make impact and also ready to learn. Quiet and spacious environment, you could easily communicate with colleagues, conference to attend, workshops, extra curricular activities like clubs - games - and more so. So far so good, no needs - to - done changes as occurred to me in NYCCT. We students just needs more focus, we should make our professors teachings worthwhile by showing our commitment to studies, we all should know what we are in college for, and make sure we achieve that goal and fulfill that dream to make a difference. Students, just keep moving forward academically. Education is the best LEGACY!
