Sophomore: I am starting to find my place at Tufts. Alum: I was a dual enrollment student at MCC for almost three years. I studied only virtually for my degree. It was a great experience. The staff and faculty in general were super helpful and supportive of the students. Something that could be improved is with the online classes, there’s really not much chance to get engaged with the MCC community. It’s hard to hear about new events and activities going on unless you somehow have a very close relationship with your professor. If you do happen to hear about events , programs, etc and get involved in other activities, it’s a very great learning experience and a chance to build your network. So my only suggestion for future students is if you do happen to take online courses, make sure you constantly ask classmates and professors about different opportunities available that you may be interested in. Senior: Endicott does a fantastic job with career preparation and readiness. There are several internship courses that teach students how to create resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, and professional emails. Additionally, they provide resources and teach students how to find internships/jobs, make connections, and network. As a senior, I have found the internship program to be immensely helpful, and I have had experiences that will make me well prepared once I graduate. The professors are wonderful- they are willing and able to help students, and are generally supportive. One thing I would like to see change at Endicott is accessibility on campus. Endicott's campus is difficult to navigate for students with disabilities, which discourages disabled students from applying and causes very significant issues for current students. Junior: The vast majority of the professors at Regis are the most helpful and kind people I have ever met. Every professor I've had has always taken the time to answer any questions I may have, they have been patient with me and assisted me when I made the decision to change my major, and they've offered so much support in all of my ventures. They have also encouraged me to excel and to step out of my comfort zone which has made me a better and more enthusiastic student. The classes are small so there's a better chance of getting you're question answered during class and not having to wait to send over an email.
