Junior: I love it so far. I just started in the radiologic technology program there and I was able to apply early, and the staff was very accepting and helpful with that. They provided me will all the information and handouts that I needed, the day that I asked for them, and even after office hours which I appreciate SO much. They are extremely organized and they show so much care to their students already and they’re very attentive to our needs. The instructors are very big on emphasizing that if we need academic help the doors are always open to us and I love that. Everyone there also has an amazing personality and they’re all so different and likes me in their own ways. This makes me really interested in what they have to say and makes me want to learn more. Freshman: Sheridan technical is a great school. Most of my friends have studied there and told me that the teachings at the school is very impressive. They offer certificates and degrees in various fields of studies. I am going to be majoring in Information Technologies and my advisor has been awesome. She has made the registration process so easy and has been very helpful. Personally I would recommend this college to anyone, especially now that we are living in a day and age where a bachelor degree is not needed for most careers. Sophomore: The first thing I can say about Indian River State College (IRSC), specifically Massey Campus-- I haven't been to the other campuses-- is that my experience with advisors has been the best. The advisors here are so thorough and understanding, even if that means supporting your goals of going to another school. They genuinely provide comfort and the best advisory for your personal ambitions. If I could change anything, it would be the professors! Graduate Student: The professors were excellent! I had many that engaged with their students, always ensuring the class was on everyone's level while also going at a pace where everyone understood the assignment. The professors also weren't pushy and didn't pile up work on students, they understood we had lives to tend to and made it manageable to work with. The school and faculty themselves also were elementary and forward going, if you had a question it would be answered, and if we had opinions about something they never went unheard. The campus itself was very safe, I never had any issues of being scared to walk from the building to my car, and I made friends very quickly and connected well too.
