Central Oregon Community College
Alum: I absolutely loved my experience at Central Oregon Community College. The faculty is incredible and the tuition is some of the lowest in the state, which is incredibly helpful because Bend's cost of living is quite high. I graduated with an Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer Degree, which was readily accepted at Oregon State University when I applied as a transfer student. My favorite professors were Christopher Hazlett and Fleur Prade, who both had unique personalities that they wove into their instruction. Though my personal review of the college is 5 out of 5 stars, I have concerns with the overall ADA accessibility of the campus. Classes in Grandview and Ochoco Hall are extremely difficult to reach for those with mobility limitations.
