Freshman: Great professors, fantastic people. The campus is beautiful and is located in a safe and fairly essay location to get to. The community is strong and the recourses available are lifesavers, wether your fresh out of high school or someone wanting to get back into the education seen, Aims has plenty to offer. Though with all the good I have experienced a number of issues with the cashiers office with moments of a lack of professionalism in terms of conducting oneself in particular with being quickly dismissed and spoken to in a rude manner. Alum: This is a fantastic community college! Classes are very affordable compared to larger colleges, and if you don't have the funds to pay for tuition at the beginning of the semester, the Financial Aid office will help you find a solution. Furthermore, RRCC offers a wide variety of online, in-person, or hybrid classes to suit your schedule, and most of them are guaranteed to transfer to other colleges in Colorado. The professors are very supportive and want you to succeed with your academic goals. Plus, I prefer the small class sizes here over the larger, more intimidating classes at state universities. Also, it has great facilities and resources including a brand new student rec center, an IDEA lab to introduce students to engineering, the Arvada campus dedicated to the health sciences, a bookstore, and a coffee shop. Freshman: I spent some time between high school and college working.
